Pencil Sketches - Family Portrait

Pencil Sketches - Family Portrait taken in Palace, Seoul.

As there are too many details in the picture, I had no confident to use pen because as what I said, correction is not tolerable with pen.

Therefore, pencil was chosen instead.

Everything seemed okaayyy, but when it came to face drawing, my greatest biggest weakness was obvious.

I'm weak in portrait ....

But despite the face expression, this piece of art is still ok laa right?

Pen Sketching - F.R.I.E.N.D at Kudat Beach

Pen Sketching - F.R.I.E.N.D at Kudat Beach

Was browsing my old photos to practise my sketch and saw the photo that was taken in Kudat. It was my last semester in UMS, we decided to go Kudat for the second time (first time for some).

The beach was quiet, untouched, unpolluted and the sea was clear.

And my friend, Vinci decided to take a memorable photo on this beach.

We were posing for F.R.I.E.N.D

=)

I shouldn't have draw the face. Ahhh it ruined out entire art piece, especially on Lee Xin's wan (left to right: on the third). The entire face and body were originally left white, but because of the small little flaw I made, I have to colour it all.. Sorry Lee Xin ..

I guess I learnt a lesson here.

And by the way,

I miss Sabah so much ...!!!!!

Pen Sketching - 7 UP

Pen Sketching - 7 UP

I think I'm in love with the outcome of pen sketching. I had to be very focus and sure on every line I'm putting on the drawing pad otherwise you may see extra lines that are not correctable most of the time.

The same advices I kept telling myself, practice makes perfect.

=)

Enjoy your weekend !

Acrylic Paint - First Explosive Painting

Acrylic Paint - Explosive Portrait Painting

I love painting freely. The moment I saw the picture of an explosive painting, I'm in love with it and always wanted to give a try.

I'm not good in portrait sketching. I know I've screwed the portrait much (not gonna tell who I was drawing), but my motive was clear - to paint explosively.

Then I continued choosing colours that does not resembles the original skin colour much.

Looking at my painting below, I have made a first step to be brave in colour selection, but it's not brave enough. Yeah, I guess I'll choose brighter colour in my next painting =)
